Industry AnalysisOur Role in Automotive Repair & Vehicle Showrooms
We build management systems and websites for the automotive trade — service workshops, repair garages, spare parts dealers, and vehicle showrooms. This is a business of moving stock, open jobs, and unpaid balances, so our focus is on software that gives the owner a live picture of what's in the shop, what's been sold, what's still owed, and where the money is going.
At the core is a full-fledged inventory system built for automotive stock. Every part is tracked by name, part number, brand, model compatibility, category, purchase cost, selling price, and available quantity, with support for multiple godowns or branch locations. Stock moves automatically as parts are purchased, issued to a job card, sold over the counter, or returned, and the system flags low-stock and fast-moving items so nothing critical runs out mid-repair. Dead stock reports highlight parts sitting unsold so capital isn't tied up on shelves.
For workshops, we built a complete job card and service module. Each vehicle that comes in gets a job card recording customer and vehicle details, registration number, kilometres, reported complaints, assigned mechanic, parts consumed, labour charges, and job status from received to under repair to ready for delivery. Estimates convert straight into invoices, service history is stored against every vehicle, and automated service and insurance reminders bring customers back for their next due service.
Payments and receivables are tracked end to end. The system handles invoicing with parts and labour breakdown and tax, records part payments and advances, and maintains a live pending payments ledger showing exactly who owes what and for how long — with ageing reports, credit limits for regular customers and fleet accounts, and follow-up reminders for overdue balances. The same applies in reverse for suppliers, with purchase entries, supplier bills, and outstanding payables in one place, so the owner can see net cash position at a glance.
For showrooms, we added vehicle inventory management covering each unit's make, model, variant, colour, chassis and engine number, purchase details, asking price, and sale status, along with booking and token amount tracking, exchange and trade-in records, finance and insurance documentation, and delivery scheduling. Enquiries from the website, Facebook lead forms, WhatsApp, and walk-ins flow into a single lead pipeline where the sales team can assign, follow up, and log every conversation until the vehicle is delivered.
Everything sits behind a role-based admin panel, so mechanics, counter staff, accounts, and management each see only what they need, with a full audit trail of who changed what. Dashboards and reports cover daily sales, workshop revenue, mechanic productivity, stock valuation, profit per job, and outstanding payments — replacing scattered notebooks and spreadsheets with one system the whole business runs on. Alongside the software, we develop the modern customer-facing website and handle SEO and social media, so the business is easy to find locally and enquiries land directly in the same system the team already works in.
